Happy New Year everyone! Brand new year, another year to travel! And for those working, a brand new set of vacation leaves! So wisely use those leaves and plan on using them around the declared holidays in the Philippines. 🙂 This information may be irrelevant to me now, but I’d like to share it to all of you.
The office of the President has released a full list of regular and special holidays for 2012 as declared by Malacanang through Proclamation No 295.

So unlike last year where most of the holidays fell on weekends, this year there will be at least 6 long weekends! Hooray! 🙂 Most airlines are now starting to have seat sales and promos, so take advantage of those and book your next trip. If you are on a budget, just go around the Philippines and see the hidden gems of our country. Or save up and treat yourself to an out-of-the-country tour and experience different cultures. 🙂
