If you are an OC trip-planner and a Do-It-Yourself (DIY) traveler like me, then you must have a standard list of Internet resources to help you with your planning. Once you have a destination in mind, try to check out the following sites to get you started with your trip preparation.

Meeting Neil Etheridge at the Powerade ION4 Press & Blogger Event

I started writing this blog entry as I watched the replay telecast of the Philippines-Malaysia Friendly Match that was held last February 29, 2012. As a true Philippine Azkals fan, of course I was there to watch the game live. The game ended with a 1-1 draw. Both teams played well, but our National Team deserves to be commended as they showed significant improvement in their style of play, tactics and teamwork. The biggest boost for last game’s line-up was the presence of our priced goal keeper, Neil Etheridge. The team seemed more comfortable having him manning the goal. And he played very well last game, making a lot of precious saves from Malaysia’s attacks. For me, he was the Man of the Match.

I had the opportunity to meet this fine young man last Monday, February 27, 2012 at the Makati Shangri-la. I was invited by my friend Kath to attend a bloggers event and shadow for her as she can’t attend because of work. It was the Powerade ION4 Press and Bloggers Meet with Neil Etheridge. Neil is the newest brand ambassador for the sports drink.

Travel Collection: Starbucks Tumblers

11 Grateful Moments of 2011

As usual, the first month of the new year has already passed and it’s only now that I’m posting a recap of the past year. Blame it on my recovering social life, but more on my laziness. Hopefully now that I’m already a bum (yes, I have quit my almost-7-year-job) I can blog more. 🙂

So looking back at 2011, I was able to list down the top 11 grateful moments that stood out and made last year memorable. 🙂

I was able to try this new service of Cebu Pacific Air when I flew to Hong Kong last weekend. Because our flight was so early, at 5:25am, I opted to try this web check-in thing to buy some time, instead of going to the airport 2-3 hours early.
